The Launch Instance Wizard specifies all the launch parameters required for launching an instance. Where the launch instance wizard provides a default value, you can accept the default or specify your own value. This integration simplifies and eases the process of mounting Amazon EFS file systems to Amazon EC2 instances at launch time with recommended mount options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To implement this, we will do the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Log in to the AWS console and navigate to the Security Groups features on the EC2 console.<\/li><li>Create two security groups:<ul><li>One for EC2 to allow SSH and the other for NFS.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Navigate to the EFS &#8211; Elastic File System console and create a new file system.<\/li><li>Navigate to the custom settings of the created file system and configure the EC2 security groups attaching the same to the file system.<\/li><li>Traverse to the Amazon EC2 dashboard on the AWS console to launch a new EC2 instance.<\/li><li>Add the file system to the EC2 instance and mount it using the wizard.<\/li><li>Configure the security groups for the EC2 instance and select the above-created security group for the EC2 instance.<\/li><li>Connect to the newly created EC2 instance via Instance Connect.<\/li><li>Execute a command and verify that the EFS file system is mounted.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Login to your AWS console and search for Security Groups.
